
John Baez serves as Senior Vice President of Partnership Strategy at global entertainment company Fuse Media, the leader in the creation and distribution of inclusive, purpose-driven stories and experiences for culturally diverse audiences. He is a leader in driving growth for the company through partnership development, fostering high-value client relationships and expanding Fuse Media’s market presence. He provides cross-departmental senior-level strategy across Fuse Media’s entire portfolio including Culture Collective, a collection of premium CTV channels that expands upon Fuse Media’s successful suite of O&O CTV channels through partnerships with Lionsgate, LOL Networks, Tastemade and Trusted Media Brands to bring massive scale to advertisers looking to reach the growth engine of America.
Baez also serves as a company spokesperson, representing Fuse Media at major conferences and industry events including Cannes Lion, ANA AIMM, She Runs It and Ad Age TV and Streaming Summit. Baez is Latin-American, fully bilingual, and a first-generation LGBTQ+ immigrant who has successfully navigated intersectionality throughout his career and personal experiences. He focuses much of his thought leadership in the industry on the importance of reaching diverse consumers with a more fluid and integrated understanding of identity and cultural dimensionality. Presently, he is a volunteer for The People’s Place in Ulster County in New York and is the founder and former chairman of the “Off Center” speaker series at NYC’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center.
Before Fuse Media, Baez also served as Head of Content and Marketing at the Human Rights Campaign and spent over a decade as Global VP of Marketing Operations at Paramount/CBS. Prior to that, he held marketing positions at Clear Channel, MGM, and CBS Radio.
