Landry Fields serves as the President of League Operations for Overtime Elite (OTE), the groundbreaking basketball league for elite, young players that combines high-level competition with content built for the next generation of fans.
Born in Long Beach, Landry grew up immersed in a wide range of sports and activities, including basketball, baseball, skateboarding, and surfing. He graduated from Los Alamitos High School before earning a basketball scholarship to Stanford University, where he graduated in 2010 with a degree in Communication.
Fields’ professional basketball journey spans 15 years across the NBA as both a player and executive. Selected 39th overall in the 2010 NBA Draft, he played for the New York Knicks and the Toronto Raptors, experiences that shaped his understanding of player development, team culture, and the realities athletes face both on and off the court. Following his playing career, Fields transitioned into front-office leadership with the San Antonio Spurs, where he worked in scouting and later served as General Manager of the Austin Spurs. He then joined the Atlanta Hawks as Assistant General Manager before being promoted to General Manager. Across these roles, Fields became known for his focus on leadership, long-term player and staff development, and his ability to align organizations around a shared vision.
