Francesca Amiker is a four-time Emmy Award–winning broadcaster, entertainment journalist, media personality, and actress proudly hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, with over 16 years of experience connecting with audiences across news, entertainment, and live broadcast.

Formerly a host and correspondent for E! News in Hollywood, Francesca has interviewed some of the world’s most iconic figures, including Rihanna, Tom Cruise, Will Smith, Angela Bassett, Tyler Perry, Oprah Winfrey, Denzel Washington, Bad Bunny, Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman, The

Rock, Kevin Hart, Jennifer Lopez, Julia Roberts, George Clooney, Chris Tucker, Scarlett

Johansson, NeNe Leakes, sports stars Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes, Saquon Barkley, Tony Hawk, and Atlanta legends T.I., Ludacris, and Jeezy to name a few. She has also interviewed prominent political figures, including Al Sharpton, Congressman Hank Johnson, and former Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, showcasing her versatility and range across both entertainment and hard news.

Over the past five years, her thought-provoking conversations and interviews have consistently driven the highest digital views and virality for E!, setting benchmarks in audience engagement and demonstrating her ability to create content that resonates broadly while maintaining journalistic integrity, audience takeaways, and her signature humor.

Her work has also caught the attention of Bravo, leading to her moderating their most attended

BravoCon panels, featuring the ladies of Married to Medicine and The Real Housewives of Dubai, to name a few. She has covered the most prestigious red carpets and global events, including the Grammys, Emmys, Oscars, White House Correspondents’ Dinner, Met Gala, Golden Globes, and Comic-Con, and was even asked to moderate one of Hollywood’s most exclusive events of the year, the Women in Film Gala — an honor and career highlight. Throughout her career, Francesca has shaped cultural conversations through exclusive moments and insightful storytelling, bringing audiences behind the scenes of the moments that define pop culture.

In addition to her television work in Los Angeles, Francesca hosted Netflix’s first-ever companion podcast for the feature film The Electric State, produced by AGBO, the acclaimed production company founded by the Russo Brothers. She interviewed over 30 key contributors, including directors The Russo Brothers, producers, and cast members Chris Pratt and Millie Bobby Brown. The podcast made history by creating a community of viewers hungry for storytelling beyond the movie, offering audiences deeper insights and lessons from the filmmaking process. Her work on the podcast was recognized with a Best Podcast nomination at Tribeca 2025, further establishing her as a multi-platform storyteller.

Before E!, Francesca proudly anchored the morning news in her beloved hometown of Atlanta for 11Alive, where she created the first ever TV and Film franchise seen on local news called The A-Scene. This quickly became a network of community change agents and trailblazers interested in further advancing Atlanta’s entertainment economics and industry influence —a groundbreaking project that earned her four Emmy Awards and established her as a leader in innovative, community-driven journalism.

Her work didn’t stop when the show ended at 7am. After shooting her own stories that aired in the evening shows, she actively engaged with the community as a host and leader. She has hosted events like the 100 Black Men of Atlanta Scholarship Gala benefiting young Black youth, spoken at the Mayor’s Ball on behalf of her station, moderated political roundtables, and hosted numerous events empowering women, including the Femme Awards and the Annual Black Women’s Expo, consistently using her platform to uplift, educate, and inspire the community. In a short time, Francesca built a self-sustaining community where audiences drove conversations, networked, and collaborated to advance Atlanta’s visibility and bargaining power in the industry. This dedication to creating opportunities for people to feel seen, heard, and empowered is exactly what she looks forward to bringing to V-1033, helping to strengthen the station’s connection to its community and listeners.

Francesca is a gifted storyteller and community-builder, passionate about using media to empower and inspire. At V-1033, she is excited to bring her on-air credibility, cultural fluency, and deep Atlanta roots to the Big Tigger Morning Show, connecting with listeners across generations, elevating conversations, and fostering authentic engagement both on the air and through the community. Her presence not only strengthens the show’s connection to its audience but also reinforces the station’s commitment to uplifting the next generation of Black leaders and creators, showing that excellence comes in many forms.

With national media experience, proven storytelling skill, multi-platform success, and a consistent track record of building communities around culture, Francesca Amiker brings energy, perspective, and leadership to V-1033 in a way that positions her as a long-term, high-impact contributor to the station’s growth and relevance. As a Black woman who authentically connects across generations, her presence naturally strengthens and expands the station’s largest and most loyal audience—Black women—while also bridging generational gaps and engaging younger listeners without alienating longtime fans. Francesca thrives in moments of industry evolution, bringing innovation, cultural fluency, and forward-thinking ideas that help legacy brands not only remain relevant, but reach historic new heights.

In addition to her broadcast career, Francesca also pursues acting, which further hones her storytelling skills. While in Los Angeles, she studied the art of acting at JIG Reel Studios under HBO’s Winning Time actor Newton Mayenge, and has starred in the international horror film Ceiling, appeared in Season 6 of the hit show The Family Business, led multiple short films headed to festivals, and most recently landed roles in the 2026 thrillers Night Shift, directed by Chris Stokes and executive produced by Marques Houston, and The Secret Lives of Bored Housewives, directed by Jeff Hare.

On a personal note, Francesca is deeply grounded in education, leadership, and family. She attended Chamblee High School, where she served as class president all four years, and graduated as a Top 10 Senior from Vanderbilt University. In 2019, she was inducted into the Vanderbilt Media Hall of Fame after helping to build Vanderbilt Television. Her mother is a former educator with 36 years of service in DeKalb County, and her father is a 44-year history maker in Atlanta’s deathcare industry, whose leadership helped modernize and elevate a traditionally overlooked space while serving generations of families with dignity and care. Together, her parents now own and operate Melwood Cemetery in Stone Mountain, Georgia. Francesca is the proud middle child of an older brother who works with Delta Airlines and a younger sister who works at Emory, and she shares her life with her beloved dog, Bentley. Her favorite motto in this lifetime is one taught to her by her father. “The best is yet to come.”
